Arsenal have finally announced the signing of a new contract by manager Arsene Wenger. I was busy doing my 888 Casino Review: Up to £888 FREE Bonus and 50 free spins! Article when my friend texted me on whatsapp to check Arsenal.com. Not that I was not expecting it but at least that demon is off our backs now. We no longer need to guess whether he will stay or leave. I personally feel it is time for a change at the club but those who run the club think otherwise. All I will do now is to support the team and hope they do the right business in the transfer window.
And talking to the transfer window, it appears Arsenal have agreed the signing of their first two summer signings. According to a report by Skysports who are hardly wrong when it comes to transfers, Arsenal have reached an agreement with Belgian clubside Eupen which will see their highly rated attacker Henry Onyekuru play for Arsenal next season.
Sky reckons a deal of £6.8m has been agreed upon by both clubs and all that’s left is for Arsenal to agree personal terms with the player and his agent and for Henry Onyekuru to undergo and pass a medical with the Gunners. Personally I don’t think this is one news Arsenal fans will be excited about and you cannot blame them.
After the failing of the just concluded season, Arsenal fans would like to see their club sign big name players and although judging by the youth clips I have seen of Henry Onyekuru, he is likely to become a big name star, but fact is, he is at the moment a rookie.
Many including my very self had high hopes for Theo Walcott but over 10 years later, he has largely been a disappointment. Only Wenger can explain how come he is still at the club. However, let’s not undermine how big Henry can become. If we had signed Kante before he went to Leicester City many of our fans including myself would have not been excited or even complain but I doubt there is anyone who won’t take him at Arsenal at the moment.
With a deal also said to be agreed for Schalke 04 left back Sead Kolasinac, let’s hope the signing of the duo is just the starting point for Arsenal’s summer transfer business. Judging by the past summer transfer windows, I would rather play hot slot game at 777Spinslot than worry myself about Arsenal transfers. However, I hope the club knows they can’t afford to disappoint the fans. The atmosphere will only get worse if the right business is not done in the summer window.
