Serge Gnabry, the young Arsenal forward has a promising career ahead of him after his fantastic performance at the Olympics. This much has been confirmed by Skysport which means the deal is probably happening.
Gnabry is a young forward who played for the youth for Arsenal and made a couple of senior appearances for Arsenal wanting to make a name for himself to cement a place in the senior team, but he hasn’t got many chances to do that due mainly to injuries.
Various news outlets in Germany have reported that Gnabry has is wanted by German giants Bayern Munich who intend to purchase him from Arsenal and then look to send him on loan to Werder Bremen.
Bayern Munich look to be offering over €8m for the young German international. Although I do not think we should keep the German against his wish, but I believe Arsenal should look to ask for more money, like Monaco did with Martial and Schalke did with Sane. If Sterling is worth £50m Gnabry should be worth at least £20m in my opion. The sale of the young German for the right price, could give us more funds to spend in the transfer market.
With most recent additions of Shkodran Mustafi from Valencia and Lucas Perez from Deportivo, Arsenal now look to have a complete squad to compete for the title with only one proven forward player missing.
Daniel Sturridge looks to be unhappy at Liverpool and it doesn’t seem Jurgen Klopp rates him. And with reports claiming Liverpool are interested in Gremio forward Luan, Sturridge who has earlier this summer been linked with a move to Arsenal could all of a sudden become available. Should Liverpool successfully get in a striker before the window closes, and ifArsenal surely want to win the title, they should be doing whatever there is to get the Englishman.
Daniel Sturridge is also a proven player and a homegrown player so settling into the league won’t be a problem for him, it’s just a matter of Arsenal making the deal happen, he may be injury prone but so also was Van Persie and he won the league for United by staying injury free for one season.
