WBA v Arsenal – Date with Destiny 13th May Screensaver

Less than 24 hours until kick off versus West Brom and our ‘Date with Destiny. We have made it hard for ourselves having got into a position only a few weeks back where it had looked a formality that we would claim 3rd spot.

I have written 2 pieces this week leading up to this weekend and there are been two themes from this site:

One suggesting a 442 formation for this final 90 minutes and the other campaigning for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain to play.  I doubt ‘Le Boss’ will change  formation from the outset and if he doesn’t I hope we don’t see a shift to 442 at all, as it will mean we are chasing the game. worth noting however that there is a growing number of you that do favour a return to the winning formula.

I do however sincerely hope Wenger feels that a fully fit and confident Oxlade-Chamberlain should play from the off. Theo Walcott cannot be fully match fit and I just feel the stage is set for ‘The Ox’ to create havoc down the opposition left.

That’s all today because this is just an introduction to this:

‘1nildown2oneup’ special edition ‘Date with Destiny’ design brought to you by our very own @liamseager

Save it, tweet it and use it as a screensaver today and tomorrow because ‘THE OX MUST PLAY’

Got to admit the boy has talent and named after a legend.

Until next time thanks for reading and enjoy the match wherever you are!

  1. Fingers crossed. I do hope Le
Professeur will listen to us. But he normally don’t. Seriously, I wouldn’t mind the personnel on the pitch but their input. If we have a determined Ox and a not-too-serious defence, then it will be bad news.

  2. Though, we seriously need al three points against WBA, but i think wenger should play some hungry fresh youthful legs in a match of that pedigree. my team to face WBA: szczezny, coquelin, gibbs, koscielny, vermaelen, song, rosicky, benayoun, gervinho, ox-chambo, RVP.

  3. Wenger is a great coach and whatever formation or player he picks tomorrow I’m confident they’ll get the job done. Hope The Ox replaces Ramsey as his form isn’t that good of late.
